The ShockWatch® RFID impact indicators deliver an effective impact monitoring program that helps reduce damage from mishandling, refines supply chain processes to prevent mishandling, and provides an electronic record of the information. These single-use, tamperproof devices turn red when an impact occurs and can be scanned with a standard UHF reader, allowing for easy tracking of inventory that requires further inspection if activated, while unactivated shipments can be moved into saleable inventory. Utilizing passive RFID technology, there are no battery life issues to consider. The indicators act as a visual deterrent to mishandling, expand the utility of RFID for damage monitoring, and help reduce receiving times by isolating items that need inspection. Additionally, they identify trouble spots within the supply chain from production to transportation to storage and are compliant with RoHS and REACH regulations. This product comes with a limited warranty of 1 year.
