The digital temperature control system provides precise and constant temperature, ensuring food remains fresher longer. The unit will emit an audible alert if the door is open for more than 30 seconds, while the monitor digitally displays the current temperature and freezer status. Temperature adjustments can be made easily via the thermostat. Turbo Air's efficient refrigeration system features oversized and balanced (CFC free R-404A) components, including efficient evaporators and condensers for quicker freezing and enhanced efficiency. An automatic evaporator fan motor delay prevents the circulation of hot, moist air by stopping the fan when the freezer door is opened, thereby increasing energy efficiency and extending compressor life. The unit is equipped with triple pane heated glass doors featuring a patented, transparent thermal insulating film for improved thermal performance. Additionally, it boasts adjustable, heavy-duty polyethylene (PE) coated wire shelves and high-density polyurethane insulation applied foamed-in-place throughout the cabinet structure. Ergonomically designed doors provide easy grip handles for effortless opening, while magnetic door gaskets are constructed from one piece and are removable without tools for convenience in cleaning and replacement. The bottom mount compressor units allow for easier service access and provide extra storage space above, creating a cooler operating environment that promotes reduced compressor running time.
