The safety ring's design, alongside a molded seal, guarantees a perfect vacuum seal. It is available with multiple thread types, including SwiftFit, UNF, PTF, NPTF, BSPT, and BSPP. The internal hex design of the straight fittings allows for tightening with an Allen wrench, facilitating access in confined spaces where an open-end wrench may not fit.
