The Aignep USA straight male metal release collet is designed for 5/16" tube x 1/2" Swift-Fit applications. This fitting is part of Aignep USA's versatile line of push-connect fittings, which are known for their high quality and robust customer service support. It features a 303 stainless steel gripper that provides a secure clamp for tubes made of any material without causing surface damage. The connection remains reliable under harsh conditions, including impacts and vibrations, thanks to the meticulously designed safety ring and molded seal that create a vacuum seal around the tube. The fitting is available with several thread types including SwiftFit, UNF, PTF, NPTF, BSPT, and BSPP. It incorporates an internal hex design, allowing for easy tightening with an Allen wrench, even in confined spaces that are unsuitable for open-end wrenches. Additionally, the rotating swivel elbow fittings are equipped with a safety ring that permits rotation while maintaining a tight seal.
