The safety ring's shape and the molded seal create a vacuum-tight seal for the tube. The fittings are available with various thread types, including Swiftfit, UNF, PTF, NPTF, BSPT, and BSPP. All straight fittings can be tightened using an Allen wrench due to the internal hex design, allowing for use in confined spaces where an open-end wrench cannot fit.
