The secure connection can withstand severe conditions such as impact and vibrations, while the shape of the safety ring and molded seal create a vacuum-tight seal. The fittings are available with several types of threads, including SwiftFit, UNF, PTF, NPTF, BSPT, and BSPP. All straight fittings feature an internal hex design allowing them to be tightened with an Allen wrench, making them suitable for use in confined spaces where an open-end wrench cannot fit.
