The secure connection is reliable under severe conditions, including impact and vibrations, while the shape of the safety ring and the molded seal effectively create a vacuum seal around the tube. The fittings are available with several types of threads including SwiftFit, UNF, PTF, NPTF, BSPT, and BSPP, and all straight fittings can be tightened using an Allen wrench due to the internal hex design, allowing for use in confined spaces.
