The safety ring's shape and the molded seal effectively create a vacuum seal within the tube. Available thread types include Swiftfit, UNF, PTF, NPTF, BSPT, and BSPP. All straight fittings can be tightened with an Allen wrench due to the internal hex design, allowing for use in tight spaces where open-end wrenches may not fit.
