The Ecor Pro EPD30 and EPDS0 are the world's smallest commercial grade desiccant dehumidifiers featuring patented drying technology using zeolite absorption material that vents moisture away without compressors, water pumps, or containers. These units operate automatically 24 hours a day and are unaffected by power cuts. They can be mounted upside down or on their sides, making them suitable for ceilings and walls. Unlike traditional refrigerant dehumidifiers, they function effectively in temperatures ranging from 104° F down to -4° F, making them four times more efficient at drying than compressor units. Compact and almost the size of a shoebox, they can be placed in tight spaces such as ceilings, crawl spaces, attics, cabinets, cupboards, or shelves. They are ideal for drying applications in hotels, schools, restaurants, condominiums, apartment buildings, vacation homes, and RVs, with the capability to convert from DC to AC power. The stainless steel Pro versions are designed for kitchen and public washroom use, freezer ice production, and boat protection due to salt corrosion resistance. Both models employ a "3-hole" system where wet air is filtered and cleaned, 85% of the dry cleaned air is exhausted, and 15% is used to expel water as a nano mist outside. The units operate quietly with sound pressure levels of 49dB for the EPD30 and 52dB for the EPDS0 at 3 feet, include a built-in user-set humidistat, and offer an optional remote humidistat.
