CellTreat® freeze cryogenic vials are engineered for the storage of biological materials at temperatures as low as -196°C, utilizing the gas phase of liquid nitrogen. The vials are available in both round bottom and self-standing configurations, with product descriptions derived from the highest graduation mark on the vial, unlike other brands that may reference actual liquid capacity. The included self-standing re-sealable bags provide an innovative storage solution. Each vial features an internal thread cap designed to prevent contamination, complemented by an O-ring silicone seal that ensures a reliable seal across all temperatures. The caps are equipped with textured ridges for enhanced grip, particularly useful when handling with gloves. The vials boast large, contrasting black graduations that are easy to read, along with a spacious white marking area for labeling, which also enhances the visibility of the graduations. Additionally, the self-standing base interlocks with an easy-grip workstation rack, facilitating convenient one-handed opening.
