The tips are designed with smooth, hydrophobic surfaces to ensure accurate pipetting, while built-in filters reduce cross-contamination and prevent damaging aerosols from penetrating into the pipette; these filters are strategically positioned to allow extra headspace when pipetting maximum volumes. Molded volume reference markings provide a quick double-check opportunity. Each rack contains 96 tips, with a case quantity of 960. The hinged lids of the pipette tip racks are designed for easy one-handed opening, facilitating repeated access, and feature a stacking capability for added stability, along with a secure locking tab. Additionally, interior support ribs help prevent warping of the rack.
