The kit includes half True HEPA and half activated carbon filters designed for enhanced air-cleaning power. The True HEPA filter effectively captures 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns, including allergens such as pollen and ragweed, as well as viruses, germs, dust mites, mold spores, pet dander, and cigarette smoke. The antimicrobial treatment on the HEPA filter provides built-in protection against the growth of odor-causing bacteria, mildew, and fungi. Additionally, the activated carbon filter works to reduce odors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This filter kit is compatible with AeraMax® AM 3/4 and 3S/4S air purifiers, and has a one-year filter life, which may vary depending on usage.
