The Glacier™ Double Faced Expandable Library Shelving 84"H Base Unit is designed to create aisles of bookshelves for storing large quantities of books, magazines, and novels, making it ideal for bookstores and libraries. This double-sided book shelving is suitable for center aisles and rows, featuring thermally fused melamine laminate surfaces that are water, scratch, stain, and burn resistant for long-lasting durability. Constructed from solid-core, industrial grade particleboard, it offers superior strength that resists warping, while the attractive 3mm edging provides wear and impact resistance. The unit includes a total of 12 shelves, with 6 on each side, and shelves are height adjustable at 1-1/4" increments. Metal shelf supports enhance strength and support, and structural integrity is ensured with a 16-gauge steel reinforcement frame. The base unit comes with 2 frame ends for added rigidity and support, and features a powder coat finish. Easy assembly is required, and the product is backed by a 1 year limited warranty.
