The Phoenix media safe offers both humidity and temperature control, ensuring ideal storage conditions for various devices including backup tapes (DLT, LTO), iPads, smartphones, laptops, hard drives, film, and memory cards. Manufactured with all-steel construction, these commercial-grade safes feature a key lock for convenient access and can hold up to 108 DLT or 135 LTO tapes. They are fire rated Class 125 for 2 hours for magnetic media, tested for fire at 1850 degrees Fahrenheit, and explosion tested at 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. The safes are impact rated, designed to withstand a 30-foot drop onto concrete rubble, followed by reheating, simulating conditions during a fire when structures give way. This construction protects against roof collapses or falling debris. Specifically designed for magnetic media, they can also safeguard CDs, data cartridges, photographs, MiniDV, memory sticks, and cards. Water resistance is achieved through double-door construction with internal seals to prevent damage from firefighting efforts, while steel bolts enhance security.
