The Phoenix Media Safes offer both humidity and temperature control, creating ideal storage conditions for various devices including backup tapes (DLT, LTO), iPads, smartphones, laptops, hard drives, film, and memory cards. Each safe is constructed from commercial-grade all-steel materials and features a key lock for convenient access. The safe can hold 12 DLT or 14 LTO tapes and is fire rated Class 125 for 1 hour for magnetic media, having been tested at 1850 degrees Fahrenheit and explosion tested at 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. It is impact rated, meaning it can withstand a drop from 30 feet onto concrete rubble followed by reheating, simulating real fire conditions. The design specifically protects against the risks associated with fire, theft, dust, and humidity, featuring a double-door construction with internal water resistant seals to guard against water damage from fire hoses and sprinklers. Steel bolts further enhance security, and all bolt work fastens into steel. The safe is covered by a 3-year parts and labor limited warranty, and a white glove delivery option is available upon request.
