The Glowear® 8231TVK Hi-Vis Tool Tethering Safety Vest Kit - Type R Class 2, dual certified, provides versatile tethering and storage options for working at heights. This kit features a dual certified ANSI/ISEA 121 and ANSI/ISEA 107 certified vest, which ensures dropped object prevention and hi-visibility compliance. The vest includes over 20 tethering points, all ANSI 121-certified to support up to 2 lbs with a maximum tether length of 4 feet, allowing it to be worn over fall harnesses. It has a back/side D-ring that enables compatibility with fall protection systems, offering maximum visibility and easy access to tethers while enhancing material longevity. Additionally, the vest is compliant with ANSI 107 Type R Class 2 for low-light visibility, and it includes 2 tool pockets for strategic and easily-accessible tool storage while tethered, as well as lanyard integration. Two chest pockets are designed specifically for the Squids 3000, 3001, 3010, or 3011 retractable tool lanyards. The kit comprises the Glowear 8231TV Hi-Vis Tool Tethering Safety Vest, a Squids 3156 coil lanyard with a single carabiner for tethering a hard hat or small tools (2 lbs // 0.9 kg), a Squids 3166 coil lanyard with dual carabiners for tethering small tools (2 lbs // 0.9 kg), and a Squids 3003 retractable tool lanyard for tethering small tools (2 lbs // 0.9 kg), which fits in a "retractable" pocket with the carabiner hanging through a cutout while the casing remains hidden.
