E6013 mild steel "General Purpose" is an all-position, general-purpose rod designed for medium to shallow penetration with medium to heavy slag that is easily removed. This rod is excellent for poorly fitted joints, and its smaller sizes are particularly well suited for low heat applications on thin metals. It is ideal for use on all types of mild steel where ease of operation and good appearance are required, making it great for light gauge metal, sheet metal, duct work, and similar applications.
