Makita® introduces a new class in cordless with the 18V LXT® sub-compact tools, offering users 12V handling with 18V run time, compatible with the world's largest 18V lithium-ion cordless tool system. The 18V LXT® sub-compact brushless 1/2" square drive impact wrench, model XWT13ZB, features an efficient Makita® brushless motor BL™, providing up to 50% longer run time, increased power and speed, and extended tool life. The tool offers variable two-speed options of 0-1,300/0-2,400 RPM and 0-2,000/0-3,600 IPM, delivering a maximum torque of 130 ft.lbs. Its compact size and lower weight reduce operator fatigue, particularly in overhead applications. The wrench includes a reverse rotation auto-stop mode that halts rotation and impact when the fastener is sufficiently loosened, along with a variable speed trigger, built-in L.E.D. lights, and a 1/2" square drive for quick socket changes. Additionally, it incorporates Makita® Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™), designed to enhance operation in harsh environments by preventing water and dust from damaging key internal components. This tool is part of Makita's expanding 18V LXT® system, known for its rapid battery charge times, enabling longer use and reduced downtime. Furthermore, the tool employs Star Protection Computer Controls™, a communication technology allowing the tool and battery to exchange data in real time, safeguarding against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating.
