Oz Lifting Products 1 ton stainless series manual chain hoists are constructed from stainless steel and equipped with a Weston-style brake system, ensuring safety and reliability. Each unit is meticulously inspected and tested in the USA, and includes a test certificate for complete traceability. These industrial manual chain hoists comply with CE, ASME B30.16, B30.21, and AS1418.2 safety standards, featuring a 100% load tested 7.1mm stainless steel load chain. Available in sizes of 1 and 2 tons, with standard lift options of 10 and 20 ft, each hoist is individually rigged and tested in the U.S.A., and is load-tested at 125% capacity. The hoists feature forged stainless steel hooks and safety latches, a weatherproof load-holding Weston-type brake with a twin pawl design, and a unique hand wheel design that allows the hand chain to feed directly into the wheel sprocket from various angles, facilitating operation from the side or above the load. They require 20% - 35% less lifting effort than competing products, making them ideal for frequent lifting and pulling applications. The fully enclosed gearing protects against contamination and debris, while the forged stainless steel hooks feature a bolt and lock nut connection for easy field replacement. Additionally, the thrust bearing on the lower hook allows for easy load rotation while preventing chain twisting, and both the hand chain and load chains are made of stainless steel for corrosion resistance.
