Tarter's Calf Creep Feeders are designed to help producers maximize return on investment by adding pounds and enhancing growth rate in their calf crop prior to weaning and marketing. These feeders hold a capacity of 650 lbs. of feed and feature adjustable feed control bands, ensuring that larger animals cannot access the valuable feed. Constructed with a 1-3/8" square tubing cage and an adjustable gate bar for growing calves, the feeder also includes a sturdy frame reinforced with 1-1/4" angle iron and a rounded 1/8" thick poly back and bottom trough for complete feeding. Additional back bracing provides enhanced support, making it one of the strongest creep feeders available. The feeders come standard with cages, which are not available separately. Specifications include overall dimensions of 50"L x 37"W x 48"H, feed trough dimensions of 50"L x 9"W x 6"D, and an approximate weight of 267 lbs. The feeding cage measures 65"L x 43"D, with a calf stall width of 14-1/2"W, accommodating four stalls.
