Fibre-Metal faceshield windows are injection molded from propionate, offering superior performance characteristics compared to other window materials. Preformed at the factory to the exact curve of crown protectors, these windows ensure easy installation with an exact fit and a perfect seal against dust, dirt, and debris. Each high-performance window has a thickness of 0.060 inches, providing an extra margin of protection without an increase in cost compared to ordinary 0.040-inch thick windows. The windows are available in three sizes and various options including clear, special tints, and shades 3, 5, and 8 (4178 only). They meet the ANSI Z87.1+ standard for eye and face protection and are tested by Honeywell to comply with the CSA Z94.3 standard.
