These center-cutting tools are suitable for milling slots, pockets, and plunge cutting. The double-end design helps reduce tool costs and downtime. Manufactured from premium high-speed steel, these tools feature a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating that increases cutting surface hardness for enhanced resistance to abrasive wear, improves lubricity, and prevents galling, which is particularly advantageous for aggressive machining of stainless steel and non-ferrous materials. TiCN coating allows for machining speeds increased by 35 to 50% compared to tools made from uncoated high-speed steel. The tools are bright and uncoated, optimized for milling in carbon steel, alloy steel, die steel, stainless steel, and cast iron.
