The APC® BE650G1 Back-UPS ES 650 Battery Backup System includes 8 outlets and is rated for 650VA / 390 watts, providing reliable power during short and medium length power outages. It is designed for energy efficiency in normal operation, with data line protection that safeguards connected equipment from damaging surges and spikes on utility and data lines. The unit features a four-stage LED status display that indicates on line, on battery, replace battery, and building wiring fault conditions. Continuous tone and two different chime alerts inform users of changing utility power and UPS conditions. The wide-spaced outlets accommodate equipment that uses input transformer blocks without obstructing access to other receptacles. The protection types include cable modem, DSL, Ethernet, fax, modem, phone, and power, with a backup time at half load of 13.4 minutes at 195 watts. It has a system VA rating of 650 VA and comes with a 3-year warranty for repair or replacement (excluding the battery) and a 2-year warranty for the battery.
