The APC Smart-UPS is a 280 watts / 450 VA uninterruptible power supply with an input voltage of 230V and an output voltage of 230V, featuring a DB-9 RS-232 interface port and a rack height of 1U. The kit includes a CD with software, rack mounting brackets, a Smart-UPS signaling RS-232 cable, and a user manual. This model is rack/tower convertible, protecting the initial investment during migration from a tower to rack-mount environment. It supports multiple mounting methods, allowing for standardization in various settings, and offers front-access servicing to simplify installation and maintenance while minimizing space requirements. The device features boost and trim automatic voltage regulation (AVR) to enhance application availability by correcting voltage variations without draining the battery, along with intelligent battery management to maximize battery performance and life through precision charging. Power conditioning safeguards connected loads from surges, spikes, lightning, and other electrical disturbances.
