The LX Desk Monitor Arm is designed to optimize workspace and enhance productivity, featuring a polished aluminum construction. The kit includes the LX arm, extension, desk clamp, grommet mount bases, and a 7" pole. It can also hold a laptop when paired with the optional Notebook Tray (50-193-200). The arm undergoes rigorous quality testing, including a 10,000-cycle test on the lift mechanism, ensuring reliable height adjustments. With patented Constant Force™ motion technology, users can easily adjust their display. The integrated cable management keeps cables organized and out of sight. Its height range of 13" (33 cm) caters to the ergonomic needs of over 90% of adults, and the arm can be folded back over the base for compact storage in tight spaces. The desk clamp can attach to surfaces ranging from 0.4" to 2.4" (10 to 60 mm) in thickness, while the grommet mount accommodates holes between 0.31" to 2" (8 to 50 mm) wide and up to 2.25" (57 mm) thick. The mounting standards are VESA FDMI MIS-D, 100/75, C, with a hole pattern of 100 x 100 mm and 75 x 75 mm. The weight capacity of the arm ranges from 7 to 25 lbs (3.2 to 11.3 kg); however, if the monitor exceeds 20 lbs (9.1 kg), the vertical range of motion may be reduced by up to 4.5" (11 cm), resulting in a total height range of 8.5" (22 cm). When installed on WorkFit-T or WorkFit-TL, the maximum allowable weight is limited to 14 lbs (6.4 kg), and a separately ordered grommet mount (98-017) is necessary for attachment. The arm provides a tilt range of 70° backward and 5° forward. Additionally, this product is certified in compliance with indoor air quality standards defined by ANSI/BIFMA regarding VOC (volatile organic compounds) emissions.
