The SC8 series scalers accept the popular octagon shank chisels and accessories. All impacting parts are manufactured from hardened steel and precision ground to ensure longevity under tough conditions. The tools operate at a powerful 4,300 blows per minute. The SC8 series features a positive lock chisel retainer that keeps the chisel securely locked in place while allowing for easy changes with a quick twist of the wrist. The SC8 comes with 19 needles, each measuring 5" (125 mm), while 7" (175 mm) needles are available as an option. The needle length is infinitely variable by sliding the sleeve to the desired position and tightening with an Allen wrench. The lever throttle allows for teasing to provide superior control of the tool in any application.
