Zep Tabs Plus is designed for health protection and preventative maintenance, featuring a potent, broad spectrum bacteriostat that effectively controls slime build-up, drain pan overflow, and the growth of harmful bacteria, including those associated with Legionnaire's disease, the common cold, and other respiratory ailments. Each unit contains 40% high-efficiency biocide (quaternary ammonium) and is EPA registered under EPA Reg. # 33427-4-1270. It is important to note that Zep Tabs Plus should not be used in humidifiers or evaporative coolers if heat lamps are positioned directly over or near the drain pan where the unit is installed, and it is not suitable for applications exceeding 150°F.
