The Powerblanket® Thaw-0509 is a 5' x 9' heated ground thawing and epoxy curing blanket from the Thaw Pro - Professional Series, designed to address the challenges of thawing frozen dirt and soil in cold conditions. This blanket has high watt density that allows it to thaw ground at an average rate of 12" to 18" every 24 hours, depending on soil type, ambient temperature, and moisture levels. The blanket features a uniform heating design that eliminates hot and cold spots, heats to a preset temperature of 150°F ± 10°F / 65°C ± 5°C, and can effectively melt snow and ice from roofs, walkways, and construction areas. It is also suitable for keeping vehicle and equipment engines warm and works well with a thermostatic controller for enhanced heat control. Certified by ETL to meet UL & CSA safety standards, the Powerblanket® Thaw-0509 offers a maintenance-free heating solution, reducing downtime and streamlining outdoor work.
