It offers up to 80 minutes of run time using a fully charged 18V LXT 5.0Ah battery (sold separately). The tool features six angle settings for a 115-degree working range, making it ideal for efficient trimming of overhead and low-lying hedges. The 20" dual-action double-sided shear blade ensures optimal performance, while the BL™ brushless motor delivers up to 4,400 SPM for faster cutting and includes three speed options (2,000/3,600/4,400). Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) provides a protective seal that channels water and dust from key internal components, enhancing tool operation in harsh conditions. Additionally, Makita's Star Protection Computer Controls™ enable real-time communication between the tool and battery to safeguard against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating.
