The self-contained eyewash unit complies with ANSI standard Z358.1-2009 and includes a wall-mounting bracket, universal identification sign, and inspection tag. It features a full, one-year limited warranty and is ideal for locations without a water supply, flushing eyes for 15 minutes at a minimum rate of 0.4 gallons/minute using only 7 gallons of water. The transparent tank assembly allows for easy visibility to determine when cleaning or refilling is necessary, while the sturdy pedestal with a hinged eyewash tray can be pulled down in one quick motion. A removable tank is inverted onto the pedestal, where it pierces a liner, and stainless steel clamps hold the tank securely. Water flow is activated by pulling the arm down, and an insulated heater jacket thermostatically controls water down to -10°F (-23.33°C). LED indicator lights provide operational status: green indicates power is on, amber signifies that the heaters are in operation, and red indicates a malfunction, which will automatically shut off the unit. Eyewash activation is triggered by pulling the front strap down and away from the unit, and it operates using a standard 120VAC power cord.
