EPDM is the most weather-resistant foam, offering a wide range of chemical compatibility, steam resistance, and a good temperature range. Known as crushed-cell foam, semi-closed foam is highly conformable like an open-cell foam but provides a tight seal, preventing air, water, and fluids from passing through it like a closed-cell foam.
