The Iron Eagle® exterior coated polyurethane on nylon jacket is a lightweight and durable garment designed for demanding work conditions, providing extreme comfort and flexibility while resisting a variety of substances including fats, oils, pine tars, gasoline, grease, and other chemicals. This jacket is ideal for applications in food processing, sanitation, meat packing, forestry, agriculture, and petrochemical industries. It exhibits good chemical resistance against most hydrocarbon oils, organic acids, salts, and alkalies, though it is not recommended for use with ketones, alcohols, and certain solvents. Key features of the jacket include polyurethane on nylon construction, batwing sleeve design for enhanced movement, 100% waterproof protection with Therm-O-Rad sealed seams, a storm fly front that effectively seals out wind and rain, an attached hood, heavy-duty snaps, mildew resistance, a 2 mil exterior coating for superior snag and abrasion resistance, and easy decontamination with excellent liquid shedding characteristics. The jacket's Therm-O-Rad sealed seams are notably stronger than the material itself, allowing for extensive laundering without compromising integrity.
