The Blue Eclipse™ offers revolutionary Tri-Hazard® protection with liquid proof, arc flash, and flash fire capabilities. Utilizing patent pending Thermo-Grid® technology to block out heat energy, the suit incorporates a flame-resistant PVC coating on Nomex® for 100% liquid proof protection while remaining soft and lightweight. The Eclipse is specifically engineered to resist industrial acids, chemicals, and caustics, making it ideal for applications in petrochemical, chemical, off-shore drilling, or any environments where flash fire protection is crucial. The garment conforms to ASTM F1891 for arc thermal performance with a NFPA 70E Cat 2 arc rating of 14 cal/cm, and meets ASTM F2733 standards for flash fire performance, with an average predicted total burn area of less than 11.4%. It features Therm-O-Rad sealed seams for complete liquid proof protection, eliminating needle holes through which chemicals could penetrate, and has an exterior PVC coating that provides excellent chemical resistance. Designed for all-day comfort, the suit has a soft, supple feel and is distinguishable by its safety blue color for easy identification. Additional attributes include non-conductive, non-corrosive snaps and buckles, self-material suspenders with heavy-duty quick release buckles and crossover, hook and loop take-up straps, ankle cuffs for an adjustable fit, and mildew resistance.
