The Blue Eclipse™ offers revolutionary tri-hazard® protection, combining liquid proof, arc flash, and flash fire protection. It features patent pending Thermo-Grid® technology, designed to block out heat energy, and a flame resistant PVC coating on Nomex®, providing 100% liquid proof protection in a soft, lightweight suit. Engineered for resilience against industrial acids, chemicals, and caustics, this suit is ideal for applications in petrochemical, chemical, and off-shore drilling environments, where flash fire protection is critical. It is resistant to various chemicals, including many acids, oils, alcohols, salts, and alkalies. The suit includes plain front overalls that conform to ASTM F1891 for arc thermal performance with an NFPA 70E CAT 2 arc rating of 14 cal/cm. It also meets ASTM F2733 standards for flash fire performance, exhibiting an average predicted total burn area of less than 11.4%. All seams are Therm-O-Rad sealed, ensuring 100% liquid proof protection without needle holes for chemical penetration. The exterior PVC coating provides excellent chemical resistance, while the soft and supple feel ensures all-day comfort. The distinctive safety blue color allows for easy identification, and additional features include non-conductive, non-corrosive snaps and buckles, self-material suspenders with heavy-duty quick-release buckles, crossover hook and loop take-up straps, and adjustable ankle cuffs. The suit is also mildew resistant.
