The Eclipse offers tri-hazard liquid-proof, arc flash, and flash fire protection, featuring patent pending Thermo-Grid technology designed to block out heat energy while providing 100% liquid proof protection through its flame-resistant PVC coating on Nomex®. Engineered for protection against industrial acids, chemicals, and caustics, the Eclipse conforms to ASTM F1891 for arc thermal performance and NFPA 70E HRC 2, while the jacket and overall styles meet ASTM F2733 standards for flash fire performance. All seams are Therm-O-Rad sealed, ensuring 100% liquid proof protection without needle holes for chemicals to penetrate. It boasts an exterior PVC coating for excellent chemical resistance, a high jacket collar with a hook and loop throat closure for enhanced splash and drip protection, and a soft, supple feel for all-day comfort. The distinctive safety blue color aids in easy identification.
