SafetyFlex® is a specialty PVC suit designed for aggressive applications, featuring a flame-resistant construction that combines tough protection with a comfortable fit. It is engineered to resist industrial acids, chemicals, and caustics, making it ideal for chemical environments. The suit offers a range of technical attributes, including Therm-O-Rad sealed seams for 100% liquid-proof protection, a storm fly front that seals out wind, rain, and contaminants, and non-conductive, non-corrosive snaps and buckles. Additionally, it includes hidden hardware for added safety, a zipper closure with a dual storm fly front, and mildew resistance. The flame-resistant properties ensure that the material is self-extinguishing, with a flameout and afterglow time of less than or equal to 2 seconds after the ignition source is removed, and a char length of less than 6 inches as per ASTM D6413 testing. The heavy exterior coating provides excellent permeation performance, while the soft, supple feel ensures all-day comfort. The tapered sleeves are designed to fit in protective gloves or accommodate glove rings, and the distinctive safety green color allows for easy identification.
