The Iron Eagle® exterior coated polyurethane on nylon jacket is a lightweight and durable garment designed for extreme comfort and flexibility, while also resisting fats, oils, pine tars, gasoline, grease, and various chemicals, making it suitable for demanding work environments. Ideal applications include food processing, sanitation, meat packing, forestry, agriculture, and petrochemical industries. The jacket offers good chemical resistance to most hydrocarbon oils, organic acids, salts, alkalies, and some organic solvents, although it is not recommended for use with ketones, alcohols, or certain solvents. Its features include a polyurethane on nylon fabric, batwing sleeve construction for unrestricted movement, Therm-O-Rad sealed seams providing 100% waterproof protection, a storm fly front to keep out wind, rain, and contaminants, an attached hood, and heavy-duty snaps that are guaranteed not to fail. Additionally, the jacket is mildew resistant and features a 2 mil exterior coating that offers excellent snag and abrasion resistance, while the sleek coating allows for easy decontamination and effective liquid shedding. The Therm-O-Rad sealed seams are also engineered to be stronger than the material itself, capable of withstanding extensive laundering.
