The Blue Eclipse™ is a revolutionary suit designed for Tri-Hazard® protection, offering liquid proof, arc flash, and flash fire protection through its patent pending Thermo-Grid® technology, which blocks out heat energy. The soft and lightweight suit features a flame-resistant PVC coating on Nomex®, providing 100% liquid proof protection. Engineered for durability, it is resistant to industrial acids, chemicals, and caustics, making it ideal for applications in petrochemical, chemical, and offshore drilling environments where flash fire protection is essential. The suit conforms to ASTM F1891 for arc thermal performance and NFPA 70E Cat 2 arc rating of 14 cal/cm, as well as ASTM F2733 for flash fire performance, with an average predicted total burn area of less than 11.4%. All seams are Therm-O-Rad sealed, ensuring complete liquid proof protection without needle holes, while the exterior PVC coating offers excellent chemical resistance. The suit is designed with a soft, supple feel for all-day comfort in a distinctive safety blue color for easy identification. Key features include non-conductive, non-corrosive snaps and buckles, self-material suspenders with heavy-duty quick release buckles and crossover, hook and loop take-up straps, and adjustable ankle cuffs. It is also mildew resistant, adding to its durability in challenging environments.
