The Blue Eclipse™ provides revolutionary tri-hazard® protection, featuring liquid proof, arc flash, and flash fire protection through patent pending Thermo-Grid® technology that blocks heat energy. This soft, lightweight suit has a flame-resistant PVC coating on Nomex®, ensuring 100% liquid proof protection and making it ideal for applications in petrochemical, chemical, and off-shore drilling environments, as well as any situation where flash fire protection is necessary. The kit includes plain front overalls that conform to ASTM F1891 for arc thermal performance with an NFPA 70E Cat 2 arc rating of 14 Cal/cm and meet ASTM F2733 standards for flash fire performance, exhibiting an average predicted total burn area of less than 11.4%. All seams are Therm-O-Rad sealed to ensure 100% liquid proof protection without any needle holes that could allow chemical penetration. The exterior PVC coating offers excellent resistance to various industrial acids, chemicals, and caustics, while the suit maintains a soft, supple feel for all-day comfort. It features a distinctive safety blue color for easy identification, non-conductive and non-corrosive snaps and buckles, self-material suspenders with heavy-duty quick release buckles and crossover, hook and loop take-up straps, adjustable ankle cuffs, and is mildew resistant.
