Featuring patent pending Thermo-Grid® technology, it blocks out heat energy, while the flame-resistant PVC coating on Nomex® delivers 100% liquid proof protection in a soft, lightweight suit. Engineered for industrial applications, it resists industrial acids, chemicals, and caustics, making it ideal for environments in petrochemical, chemical, and off-shore drilling sectors, or any applications requiring flash fire protection. The suit exhibits chemical resistance to various acids, oils, alcohols, salts, and alkalies. Key features include plain front overalls that conform to ASTM F1891 for arc thermal performance with an NFPA 70E Cat 2 arc rating of 14 cal/cm, and it meets ASTM F2733 standards for flash fire performance with an average predicted total burn area of less than 11.4%. All seams are Therm-O-Rad sealed, ensuring 100% liquid proof protection without needle holes that could allow chemical penetration. The exterior PVC coating provides excellent chemical resistance, and it is designed for comfort with a soft, supple feel for all-day wear. The distinctive safety blue color ensures easy identification, while non-conductive, non-corrosive snaps and buckles enhance safety. The suit is equipped with self-material suspenders featuring heavy-duty quick-release buckles and crossover hook and loop take-up straps, along with ankle cuffs for an adjustable fit.
