Engineered for durability, the Eclipse resists industrial acids, chemicals, and caustics, making it ideal for applications in petrochemical, chemical, offshore drilling, or any environment requiring flash fire protection. The chemical resistance covers various acids, oils, alcohols, salts, and alkalies. Key specifications include plain front overalls that conform to ASTM F1891 for arc thermal performance, achieving an NFPA 70E Cat 2 arc rating of 14 cal/cm, and conforming to ASTM F2733 for flash fire performance with an average predicted total burn area of less than 11.4%. All seams are Therm-O-Rad sealed to ensure 100% liquid proof protection without needle holes, complemented by an exterior PVC coating for superior chemical resistance, providing a soft feel for all-day comfort. The distinctive safety blue color allows for easy identification, with non-conductive, non-corrosive snaps and buckles, self-material suspenders featuring heavy-duty quick-release buckles and crossover, as well as hook and loop take-up straps and adjustable ankle cuffs.
