The Comfort-Brite® is a highly visible, flame-resistant jacket designed for various applications such as utilities, telecommunications, construction, transportation, DOT's, municipalities, waste management, and general industry. This lightweight and durable jacket features ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 3 compliance for high visibility, with a fluorescent background material that provides excellent daytime visibility. It is equipped with 2-inch silver reflective tape that enhances nighttime conspicuity through 360° reflection. The full cut shoulder and 90° sleeve to body angle ensure maximum freedom of movement. For waterproof protection, the jacket utilizes Therm-O-Rad sealed seams and a zipper/storm fly front that effectively seals out wind, rain, and contaminants. Non-conductive hardware is used, along with a roll-away hood in the collar for added convenience. The design includes a full-vented cape back for improved air circulation, D-ring access for fall protection harnesses, and easy access cargo pockets with closure. Hook & loop take-up straps on the sleeve cuffs allow for an adjustable fit. The jacket is mildew resistant and has been flame resistant tested, demonstrating self-extinguishing properties with a flameout and afterglow of less than or equal to 2 seconds after the removal of the ignition source, and a char length of less than 6 inches, as per test method ASTM D6413.
