It features patent pending Thermo-Grid® technology, which effectively blocks heat energy, while the flame-resistant PVC coating on Nomex® ensures 100% liquid proof protection in a soft, lightweight suit. This suit is engineered for robust protection against industrial acids, chemicals, and caustics, making it ideal for applications in petrochemical, chemical, and off-shore drilling environments, or where flash fire protection is necessary. The chemical resistance includes various acids, oils, alcohols, salts, and alkalies. Key features include plain front overalls that conform to ASTM F1891 for arc thermal performance and NFPA 70E Category 2 arc rating of 14 cal/cm, compliance with ASTM F2733 for flash fire performance with an average predicted total burn area of less than 11.4%, and 100% liquid proof protection due to Therm-O-Rad sealed seams. The exterior PVC coating provides excellent chemical resistance, while the soft, supple feel ensures all-day comfort. The distinctive safety blue color allows for easy identification. Additionally, it incorporates non-conductive, non-corrosive snaps and buckles, self-material suspenders with heavy-duty quick release buckles and crossover, and hook and loop take-up straps at ankle cuffs for an adjustable fit. The suit is also mildew resistant.
