The kit is designed for mammalian suspension culture applications as well as bacterial and yeast culture, and it is available with either a solid or vent cap to eliminate the chance of unintended venting, unlike combination caps. The vent caps feature a 0.22µM hydrophobic membrane that allows for gas exchange without contamination, and the oversized vent area in the cap improves gas exchange. Each kit is packaged sterile in individual bags for easy storage and handling. The components are manufactured from medical grade virgin PETG, which effectively reduces gas permeability.
