5ml macro centrifuge tubes combine the convenience of micro centrifuge tubes with the capability to process sample volumes up to 5ml. The tube diameter and shape are identical to standard 15ml conical bottom centrifuge tubes, allowing compatibility with existing equipment. Each tube features a frosted marking spot and engraved graduations for easy labeling and measurement. The attached flat top cap is designed for easy one-handed operation, while the center of the cap includes a thin "membrane" area for straightforward puncture and access by a syringe or needle. The black construction of the tubes protects light-sensitive compounds, eliminating the need for additional wrapping with aluminum foil. These tubes can operate within a temperature range of -86°C to 80°C, making them suitable for various laboratory applications.
