Tissue culture flasks are designed in both tissue culture treated and non-treated suspension culture versions, with the treated flasks featuring a uniform hydrophilic surface that promotes consistent cell attachment. They come packaged in a convenient zip-closure bag, an alternative to folding and taping open bags. The flasks are designed with a large opening, canted neck, and moderate angles for easy access to the entire surface, making them ideal for use with cell scrapers. A stable base allows for filling while the flask stands upright, and the thick, durable walls ensure reliability. Each flask is printed with a lot number and expiration date for easy identification and tracking. The molded, interlocking T design enhances stacking capabilities for 75, 182, and 300 cm², as well as 250, 600, and 850 ml size flasks. Vent caps are equipped with a 0.22 µm hydrophobic membrane. Specifically, the 182 cm² flask provides more growth area than standard 175 cm² flasks, while the deep volume design allows for greater media capacity, enabling longer cell culture growth without the risk of drying out or nutrient depletion, making it suitable for extended culture periods.
