Tissue culture flasks are available in both tissue culture treated and non-treated suspension culture versions. The tissue culture treated flasks feature a uniform hydrophilic surface that is ideal for consistent cell attachment. Each flask is provided in a convenient zip-closure bag, which serves as a practical alternative to traditional folding and taping of open bags. The flasks are designed with a large opening, canted neck, and moderate angles for easy access to the entire surface, making them suitable for use with cell scrapers. The stable base allows for filling while the flask is standing upright, and the thick, durable walls ensure reliability. Each flask is printed with a lot number and expiration date for easy identification and tracking. Additionally, the molded, interlocking T design improves stacking compatibility with 75, 182, and 300 cm², as well as 250, 600, and 850 mL size flasks. The vent caps are equipped with a 0.22 µm hydrophobic membrane. The 182 cm² flask offers greater growth area compared to standard 175 cm² flasks, and the deep volume design of the 182 cm² flask allows for increased media volume, facilitating longer culture maintenance without the risk of drying out or nutrient depletion, making it possible to sustain cell cultures over weekends.
