The angled design promotes funneling of liquid to maximize retrieval and is compatible with multiple-channel pipettes. Each reservoir features pour spouts on the corners and textured gripping areas on the sides, although these features do not apply to models 229290 and 229291. The low profile of the reservoirs is ideal for small volume robotic tips, and they are bulk packed for easy separation.
