The kit is designed for mammalian suspension culture applications as well as bacterial and yeast culture and includes either solid or vent caps to eliminate the chance of unintended venting, unlike combination caps. The vent caps feature a 0.22 µm hydrophobic membrane that allows for gas exchange without contamination, and an oversized vent area in the cap improves gas exchange. Each unit is packaged sterile in individual bags for easy storage and handling and is manufactured from medical grade virgin PETG, which reduces gas permeability.
