The kit is designed for mammalian suspension culture applications as well as bacterial and yeast culture, and it is available with either a solid or vent cap to eliminate the chance of unintended venting, unlike combination caps. The vent caps feature a 0.22μM hydrophobic membrane that allows for gas exchange without contamination, and the oversized vent area in the cap improves gas exchange. Each unit is packaged sterile in individual bags for easy storage and handling. The kit is manufactured from medical grade virgin PETG, which reduces gas permeability.
